Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Hospitalist/Nocturnist

Seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Hospitalist for an impressive full-time position in Roanoke Rapids. There are two positions open for either a hospitalist or nocturnist position. The practice is located ~1.5 hours outside of Raleigh and Richmond. This practice has multiple locations across the state.

• Inpatient-only hospitalist or nocturnist position
• Hospitalist: 7on/7off schedule, 12 hour shifts with some rotating nights. Average volume of 12-15 patients.
• Nocturnist: 7on/7off schedule, 7pm-7am. Average nightly admissions volume of 3-9 patients
• Hospital privileges at the local, 204-bed, community hospital
• Great team with an experienced nursing staff and ~11 other physicians

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Current resident, board eligible or board certified
